Then use the link in the structure page to access content in the Verlyn Edward Klahn "Cobblestone Structures of Wayne County" Essay. Use the cross reference table to the right of the map to match the Klahn essay location number with the Cobblestone Info Base structure page name. Click links without a number are not enabled and indicate the location of additional cobblestone structures which Klahn did not include in this essay. Not until the Cobblestone Society and Museum, established in 1960, the publishing of the Carl F. Schmidt book "Cobblestone Masonry" in 1966, and the efforts of several major research and enthusiast contributors, was there a significant emphasis on cataloging, documenting and imaging "all" existing and no longer existing authentic Cobblestone structures; therefore, Verlyn Edward Klahn's essay in the decade of the 1950's is important. Klahn listed 34 Town of Sodus structures; whereas, today there are 55 known structures.

The location of existing cobblestone structures in this town are noted with red dots, and no longer existing noted with blue dots. The adjacent number signifies the index number of a specific structure in the town; for example, Sod-1. A link button is centered over each dot which when clicked links to the appropriate Cobblestone Info Base structure page.
